R. Drew Ogden is a founding partner of Henniker River Group. Mr. Ogden's role involves facilitating the business development needs of Henniker River's client portfolio including consulting in the areas of strategic planning, international expansion and facilitating strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Ogden works actively with most of Henniker River's clients and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Creative Information Systems, Inc. and Barefoot Technologies, Inc.  Mr. Ogden has served on the Board of Directors of Facet, Inc. (acquired by 20-20 Technologies,Inc.), Londavia, Inc. (acquired by the Marmon Group of Companies) and Design Source Technologies, Inc. (acquired by SolidWorks Corporation). 

Previously, Mr. Ogden worked with the Delahaye Group, Inc. in the area of international expansion and helped facilitate their merger with Medialink (MDLK). He also consulted Cimlogic, Inc. during its acquisition by SolidWorks as well as Textco, Inc. during its acquisition by SciQuest, Inc. (SQST). Mr. Ogden also consulted the merger of Facet with 20-20 Technologies, and subsequently assisted 20-20 Technologies with their acquisition of Aritek, Inc., eFurn Technologies, Inc. and CAP, a division of the McGraw-Hill Companies.

Prior to Henniker River, Mr. Ogden was the Vice President of Legal and Business Development at Softdesk, Inc., a NASDAQ company that developed and distributed CAD software for architects and engineers worldwide. At Softdesk, Mr. Ogden was part of the executive management team that took the company public. He was responsible for negotiating strategic licensing agreements, spin-offs and multiple acquisitions which ultimately lead to Autodesk's (ADSK) acquisition of Softdesk in early 1997.

Mr. Ogden was previously a partner at Frankel, Murphy & Ogden, an intellectual property law firm, and practiced in the areas of licensing, international business and distribution counseling. Mr. Ogden has also held the positions of in-house counsel and director of international sales at an accounting software company and an operating system software company respectively.

Mr. Ogden holds a Juris Doctor degree from Franklin Pierce Law Center and a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Finance from Franklin Pierce College. Mr. Ogden is a member of the Bar of Massachusetts.
