Theodore "Ted" Chumas

Ted's role at Ascentage involves facilitating the growth and development needs of high-tech ventures including consulting in the areas of strategic partnering, product management and sales and marketing strategies.

Prior to joining Ascentage, Ted was vice president of Sales at Framework Technology, a startup company that received over $50 million in venture financing. At Framework, Ted was responsible for building a sales team, as well as developing the company's sales and marketing strategic and tactical plans. He also played an integral part in Framework's growth during its early stage as a startup.

Before joining Framework, Ted was the vice president of the Professional Solutions Division at Softdesk, Inc., which merged with Autodesk, Inc. in early 1997. During his eight-year tenure at Softdesk, Ted served in a number of roles, including director of Product Management and director of North American Sales. Ted's leadership strengths contributed to the company's growth and establishment as a leading developer of architecture, engineering and construction software for AutoCAD (Developed by Autodesk).

Ted previously held various management and engineering positions at Cadcraft, Inc., TEQ Systems, Energy Transportation Corp. and Bethlehem Steel.

Ted holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from NY State Maritime College. Ted is also a registered principal holding the FINRA Series 24, 82 and 63 licenses.
